Readie Construction Team Raises Over £7300 for Charity

The team from Readie has achieved a remarkable feat by successfully completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge, raising an impressive sum of over £7300 for charity.

The challenge involved conquering the three highest peaks in the UK—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—within a demanding 24-hour timeframe. Despite facing challenging conditions, the Readie team showcased endurance and determination, making their way through the arduous journey.

The funds raised will significantly impact the lives of individuals in the construction industry dealing with mental, physical, and financial challenges. The generosity of donors has made a real difference, highlighting the collective commitment to supporting the well-being of those in need.

Readie Managing Director, Paul Stephens, expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishment and thanked them for their dedication to the cause. The team members—Oliver Stephens, Adam Gelman, Neil Freeland, Mark Frendo, Mark Lofthouse, Darren Edwards, Daniel Sadler, Dan Bennett, Callum Clay, Niall Keely, and Harrison Mazzone—are acknowledged as inspirations to all.

The 3 Peaks Challenge proved to be a fantastic experience for the team, though not everyone managed all three peaks due to injuries. Despite the physical demands and the travel between mountains in a small minibus, the challenge served as an opportunity for the team to bond and discuss the construction industry’s well-being initiatives.

Reflecting on the tough yet worthwhile experience, one team member expressed satisfaction with the over £7,000 raised for the Lighthouse Charity. Organised by Adam Gelman, the challenge demonstrated the team’s commitment to making a positive impact and supporting a deserving cause.
