NAW 2026: National Apprenticeship Week with BTX!
NAW 2026 is here, celebrating the theme of Skills for Life! From Monday 9th February to Sunday 15th February, here at BTX, we will be bringing you the best, apprenticeship-themed content. As the leading publication dedicated to construction students and apprentices, we will be providing helpful tips and advice for any current or future apprentices.
You can follow us on our Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn where we will also be shouting out students and apprentices, so make sure to tag us in your work and let us know how you are celebrating NAW 2026.
MONDAY – SKILLS FOR LIFE
We’re kicking off NAW 2026 by giving back to apprentices to nurture skills that will last a lifetime.
We’re teaming up with Johnstone’s Trade Paint to give five lucky apprentices the chance to win amazing, industry-leading products to help develop their skills!
EMPLOYER TUESDAY
In honour of Employer Tuesday, we’ll be showing our appreciation for all employers and lecturers who take on and support apprentices.
We will be asking questions on our social media platforms to get to know what are some of your favourite and most rewarding parts of training an apprentice.
Make sure to check it out on our Facebook and LinkedIn channels.
OPPORTUNITY THURSDAY
To celebrate Opportunity Thursday, you can hear from our previous BTX Painting & Decorating Learner of the Year finalists with their advice for future apprentices on our Instagram and TikTok channels.
To discover other fantastic opportunities, check out our BTX Painting & Decorating Learner of the Year and BTX Carpentry & Joinery Learner of the Year competitions and register your interest for next year.
National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity to celebrate the vital role apprenticeships play in addressing the UK’s skilled trades shortage and the talented apprentices doing them.
We are incredibly excited for our upcoming BTX Learner of the Year regional heats, where will get to meet and celebrate the hard work of apprentices and students across the country.
